Mewthree.

There's nothing like reclining back on a long trip home in a car listening to "pretentious art rock" and closing your eyes to look around at all of the beautiful, warm colors as the sun rays hit your eye lids (hopefully you are not the one driving). The video above is a band called Mew, performing the song Special from their latest CD.  Mew is a Danish band consisting of three guys who look alike and have names with characters that I don't know how to create on my computer. The equivalent to the null sign in math. Anyways, whenever I return home from college, I like to choose a band to listen to on the way back. Old school. No skipping around the cd or putting the iPod on random. Just like popping in a cassette and singing along. Well this time guess what band I chose. Yea! Color Me Badd. How'd you guess? But still, Mew is amazing to listen to especially if you have a good imagination. Why? I don't know really, you just will. They are a dreamlike, prog, post-rock band with a vocalist. Imagine a toned down Anthony Green. This band is just so infectiously catchy. Although from what I've noticed it is not for everybody. But if you like music, definitely check these dudes out.

In conclusion:
Mew is good.
CD's killed music.
