And the Winner Is...

So the 48 Hour Film Festival is over now, and the results are in. Our team, The Detroit Athletic League Golf Tournament aka The Martin Agency's film Neighborhood Watch won the title of Best Film, as well as Best Costumes and Best Directing along with the Audience Choice Award in Group C. Props to my actual favorite movie of the festival, Taking Stock by the Plaid Connection.

These guys are a group mainly comprised of current and graduate VCU Photo/Film students. It looked beautiful and was wonderfully lit by their DP, Kuni Ohi who won for Best Cinematography. Past winners of the festival, you can check out some of their stuff on their Vimeo site. You can also check out Neighborhood Watch here and see some production stills below taken by Vinnie Gonzalez.
