So I've been listening to Justice, which of course led to Wale, which of course led to The Roots and ended up remembering going to a Girl Talk show and seeing an instrumental hip hop open up. They were a little group from DC called Restoring Poetry in Music and I'm really feeling them right now.
I found their album, Pyramids in Moscow, here and have been listening to the album on repeat.
Another group that reminds me of these guys are Richmond born, Score One For The Little Guy. I'm sure you've heard of them if you live in Richmond and have friends. Anyways, check them all out.
