So we kicked off this seasons show of The Worst Kids on WVCW with a bang. Starting off with awesome technical difficulties and an all new cast, the folks talked about various movies and various hilarious anecdotes about hilarious movies with hilarious reviews. A Little Past A Little Closer.

Last weekend we wrapped on the production of A Little Closer. A group of NYU Graduates and other New York City dwellers came down to Richmond, the directors Matthew Petock's hometown, and began shooting his first feature length film.


The final scene was shot at a county fair.Where we spotted a few celebrities including Turtle Kid amongst many others. See if you can spot them all! It feels great to get back in touch with my Southern Roots. Check out more pictures at theworsteyes.

Game Over.

After days of hard, stressful work, Steam Heat has wrapped and is awaiting its trip to the lab for development and color grading. This was the fifth and final summer production apart of VCU Cinema and was shot once again in 35mm with an Arriflex BL3. The Hangover.

Now normally I would be caught dead in a movie theater after dying from the realization that I just paid for a ticket to see a horrible movie. However, because of a man named Zach Galifianakis, I could say I enjoyed The Hangover. This wasn't his best performance or anything like that, but it's Zach Glaifinakes!

Directed by the Old School dude, this was your typical bro movie. I didn't like Dude Where's My Car? but I love The Office so I loved Ed Helms so I liked the movie. And of course there was Zach Galfiniekies. Then there was the dude who got raped up the b-hole in Wet Hot American Summer. He was alright I guess. Plot was predictable but fun. Heather Graham was in it. And her boob too. So was Zach Gandolfini! And his penis...

I would say the whole movie led to the last two minutes of the film. Which happened to be during the credits. But anywho, with sequel in the works, this won't be the last time we see these dudes on the big screen. Zach's Penis...

Summer productions began weeks ago and I tagged along on the shoot of Flicker. We shot inside an actual house. Our actor Ken Peebles' stare pierced through my lens and into my fragile little soul. I've never been more scared. I still don't know if he hates us all or just stays in character. Making him walk through a bunch of dead bodies in a hot concrete field didn't help either.
