Black Girls-1 by theworsteyes.

A few days ago, I somehow got coaxed to shoot a video for my friend's band. This is the result in the night. Black Girls is a band from Richmond half Black Star half Spice Girls. Their name at least is that. Anyways check out this video I did in like ten seconds. Mad skills.

This Is Jack.

You Dont Know Jack Yet-1 by theworsteyes.

This is my friend Jack. He is a painter. He does paintings of people. And they are pretty darn good. He's dropping his website at the start early 2010. So watch out for that and a special collaboration in the future.

Check out some more photos over at theworsteyes.

The Definition.

My buddy Corey Smith is releasing his first solo mixtape this November. If you're from Richmond and have been around then you probably have heard of Corey's music group, Earth Tone. He's going to be performing at the Green House in New York City in October. He's also going to be on the pilot for a new Bravo reality show coming up, but that's a whole different story. Check out his mixtape trailer above or see it in HD here.

Also, I forgot to post this but it's of Raekwon when he came down for the SHHO in Richmond. Check it out.

A Little Past A Little Closer.

Thats a Rape-16 by you.

Last weekend we wrapped on the production of A Little Closer. A group of NYU Graduates and other New York City dwellers came down to Richmond, the directors Matthew Petock's hometown, and began shooting his first feature length film.

Thats a Rape-24 by you.

The final scene was shot at a county fair.Where we spotted a few celebrities including Turtle Kid amongst many others. See if you can spot them all! It feels great to get back in touch with my Southern Roots. Check out more pictures at theworsteyes.

48.

So I haven't posted in forever because I don't like you guys. I don't like what you stand for and how you live. Anyways! This last weekend I was an assistant camera on the 48 Hour Film Project in Richmond. It was really fun and I got to work with a lot of cool people and equipment. It was shot on the RED One and a Panasonic Varicam. Here are some stills from our DP/Camera Operator's Johnny St. Ours blog.

The film was directed by Lucas Krost and will be screening at the Byrd Theatre in Richmond this Saturday July 25th starting at 4.

Attention Deficit.

Nike Boots-55 by you.Nike Boots-62 by you. />Nike Boots-43 by you.

"The Attention Deficit Era has now begun."

As the words came from Wale's mouth, the Richmond crowd erupted. Dropping names such as Kid Cudi and Mickey Factz, one could really envision the great future of hip-hop.

Last night I was lurking for the Wale show at the National in Richmond, VA when I felt such an emotion during the set that is indescribable. So on that note, I won't describe it. Just know that when Wale's crew and I rushed center stage with the crowd screaming, the feeling was rich.

It was a good show, despite the long wait for Wale, with Richmond locals EarthTone opening up for the big man himself. Props to Jon Q and the rest of the guys for helping me out tons. I lost a hoodie, but the experience was worth it.

I'll have an exclusive video of the show up soon, but in the meantime check out the rest of the pictures at theworsteyes.

Road Fighter-7 by you.

For the first time in three years, VCU classes have been delayed due to inclement weather. Shortly later, classes were canceled all together. Just in time for Spring Break. In other news, I just bought myself that Nikon D90 I've been talking about on and off. Also just in time for Spring Break. So be ready for some vimeo videos. Gosh I feel like BobbyHundreds.

Kids-8 by you.

Yesterday I performed my civic duty in showing the Skate Crew from Manassas around these parts. It was a day full of bombing hills, nollie heels and McDonald's. Watching ten kids speed down a hill downtown at 30 MPH all wearing black with their hoods up glowing in the orange street lights at night is a pretty cool sight.

Rooftops-16 by you.

Have you ever wished you could just skate from helicopter blade to helicopter blade to homeless bum to Eiffel Tower like in Tony Hawk Pro Skater or something? I certainly do. This morning, I went to a meeting with an important associate and she showed me around a newly bought area that will eventually be renovated into something big. More on that later... The construction workers showed me up to the rooftop and gave me a great view. I couldn't help myself but to think about skating on the roof. Seriously though, I didn't have my board. Plus I can't skate.

More here.

Barack Obama.

I'm Gonna Miss Her-24 by you.

Last night, Barack Obama won the presidency of the United States of America. Change is coming. Hopefully for the better. It'll take a few years though. No matter who you wanted to win, it's over now. It's over and we have a new president who will do his best to bring America out of the shit. We have to stand together as a country. Stand together as a country and demonstrate to the world that America and democracy is the best example of what a solid constitution with properly enforced laws can bring to those who desire freedom and safety. My fellow Americans, stand together as a country...And if aliens attack, we have to stand together as a world! Thank you Reflux. Good fight, good night.

Mugs.

Jump-7 by you.

Last night, I conducted an experiment for an upcoming book I am co-writing about robberies. We then robbed some people using peculiar tactics. They all ended up successful and resulted in $152.33. Watch out for this book hitting stores late Fall '09.

Busted.

DSC_0062 by you.

Saturday night. 9 PM. I threw one of the most infamous talked about parties in all of Richmond. About six, no seven people were over playing Rock Band. A knock was heard on the door and I looked through the peep hole. Richmond Police Department. We talked. And he BUSTED our party. I couldn't really hear what he said because there was some lame party involving drugs and under-aged drinking going on the apartment across from mine, but he mentioned that someone had complained. Someone as in the girls in 103. So girls in 103, if you're reading this... Subscribe to my blog. And read it just in case I give ya'll another shout out! Love ya!

New Residence.

Because of my new important job, I just moved into my new important apartment with two important dudes. It's a cool place and location but it's hard to manage all of these awesome parties I get invited to because of my status and great job. The other day a famous friend of mine (who will be unnamed for obvious reasons) asked me to come over to her place for some massive amounts of chillaxing. Sounds like a no brainer I know. But I had to take into account that I had the Premmergram account, an important mutil-million dollar job, to finish in the morning. So I unfortunately had to turn down the night of crazy antics. Hopefully, I'll have some time off soon.
